Let the Church say AMEN!

I was up in Harlem for Harlem Week, last week and I was looking to replace my old Stevie Wonder albums. I was surprised, shocked, and amazed that I couldn't find a record store in Harlem on 125th Street. None. Nada. Period. Shame. I stopped at an old haunt, Black Star Records and Video, on Lenox, but they didn't have any Stevie.

So, I had some money in my Amazon Payments account (I'll buy the CD's online, I thought) but I found that I couldn't use my Amazon Payments at Checkout. I twittered about this faux pas, because I was highly, highly, highly upset that I had money in an account at Amazon that I couldn't use at Amazon's Checkout. WTF? Especially, when I had, our spiritual leader, Stevie Wonder, in the shopping cart! I was pissed to the highest of pisstivity! Well, luckily, this morning I received notice that I could use my Amazon Payments at checkout! Hallelujah!

Guess what I bought?

"Innervisions" by Stevie Wonder; Audio CD; $10.97
"Songs in the Key of Life" by Stevie Wonder; Audio CD; $14.97
"A Time To Love" by . . . you guessed it . . . Stevie Wonder; Audio CD; $11.99

I cannot wait to blast "Moon Blue". Eff the neighbors.

Let the Church say AMEN!

BTW, This song is the epitome of grown and sexy.

Moon blue, rivers of love you shine, Bathe me in light sublime
Flood me with all your glowing heart can give
Moon blue, memories bind like chains
When will you come again
I wait in darkness just for your bright to beam

'Cause I'm not afraid of the consequence
Of being in love with you
And I'd rather be alone some nights
Awaiting your full hue
For though the sun makes bright the day
My world is dark when there's no you
You light my skies and make dark night bright day, Moon blue

Moon blue, your beauty's seen by all, the yearning of your call
Travels the world and then makes home my soul
Moon blue, lift me to starry heights, I long to live within your light
Solace of mind, my heart is yours for always

'Cause I'm not afraid of the consequence
Of being in love with you
And I'd rather be alone some nights
Awaiting your full hue
For though the sun makes bright the day
My world is dark when there's no you
You light my skies and make dark night bright day, Moon blue
